Stone County Arrests Today
The sheriff's short-window source is the RPS New Inmates page. Its title reads "Inmates Booked in Last 48 Hours." The county does not run a strict midnight-to-midnight arrest report. Instead, the feed rolls through a full 48 hours. Read each arrest date and time closely.
Cards appear only after jail staff and the vendor system process the intake data. Stone County posts no fixed refresh time and no guaranteed lag. An arrest timestamp marks the custody event itself. It says nothing about when the card went public. A missing card could mean processing, release, a correction, sealing, or custody at another facility.
The official New Inmates source is shown in this captured reference:
The list covers Stone County arrests today only. It keeps changing. New bookings appear through the day. Older entries drop off as the window rolls forward.
Check Stone County Arrests
Go through the official channels in order. That keeps the window clear and separates a new booking from present custody or a recent release. The RPS pages offer a name selector, sort controls, page-size choices, and page navigation. They are not a free-form search tool.
- Open New Inmates and confirm that the heading still states the last 48 hours. Review the displayed arrest date and time rather than assuming every card is from today.
- Compare the full name, age, city or address, and “Arrested By” label. That agency may be the sheriff, Mountain View Police, Arkansas State Police, or another office.
- Open the current Stone County roster if the person is not in the short feed. Someone booked earlier can remain listed while confined.
- Check the 48-hour Recent Releases page when a person may have left custody quickly.
- For a time-sensitive gap, call the Stone County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line at 870-269-3825 or request the existing booking or jail-log record.
Keep the arresting agency separate from the holding facility. A booking at the Stone County Detention Center does not mean the sheriff made the arrest. City police or state troopers can bring someone in. The county-wide Stone County recent-arrest hub lays out the broader record, photo, court, and request paths.
Stone County Booking Fields
The short feed shows a public view of intake data. It is not the complete jail file. Fields can sit blank on any card. Never infer a release, dismissal, or missing bond from an empty box.
| Displayed field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Name and demographics | Full name with race, sex, age, and city or address labels used by the roster. |
| Arrest date and time | The reported event timestamp, not the time the web page published the card. |
| Arrested By | The agency or officer label tied to the booking. It should not be replaced with the jail’s name. |
| Charge text | The charges recorded at booking. Charges may later be amended, dismissed, or resolved differently in court. |
| Bond and court | Bond, court date, or court name when entered. A blank does not settle the issue. |
| Booking photograph | An intake identification image. It is not proof of guilt and should be viewed at the official source. |
The public card does not promise a booking number, case number, affidavit, fingerprints, release date, or final disposition. Arkansas jail-log rules describe a larger underlying record. Much of that file stays internal. A focused records request can seek the booking sheet, jail log, release record, charging instrument, or photograph, subject to lawful exemptions.
Photos need care too. The sheriff-linked card shows an intake image. The sheriff publishes no guaranteed retention period and no single photo policy for every booking. Its copy-credit notice bars reuse of sheriff-site photos and graphics without written consent. View the card at its official source. Request a lawful copy when needed.
Why Stone County Times Differ
The web feed says 48 hours. The vendor's RPS Inmate Info app advertises updates within 24. Those are two different product descriptions. Neither promises an exact posting minute. The web page's own label is the sound basis for reading the visible Stone County feed.
RelativityInc builds the app, and the roster links to it. It is not a separately branded Stone County Sheriff app, and reviews note the data can run stale or empty at times. Check any app result against the sheriff-linked web roster.
Page controls matter as well. The roster offers sorting, a name selector, page-size choices, and first, previous, next, and last buttons. One screen is never enough. Flip through before concluding a card is absent. Sorting by arrest date helps with the short window, but the timestamp and named agency still need review.
The RPS Inmate Info listing on Google Play shows the vendor's own description:
This is an alternate vendor view. The official Stone County web card stays the better source for what the county displays now. The app fills gaps. It does not set the record.
After a Stone County Release
After release, the roster may drop the name. The recent-releases page may add a clue. Its view lasts a rolling 48 hours. Past that window, the vendor pages hold no deeper county archive, so a missing name proves nothing about whether a booking happened. The official Recent Releases page shows this separate custody state:
The release view fades fast. It never replaces a booking record or jail log. Court dispositions live somewhere else. For an older entry, request the record from the sheriff under Arkansas FOIA. Give the person's name, an approximate date, the arresting agency, and the exact record you want. The sheriff FAQ says the office handles jail booking records but may withhold active-investigation, juvenile, sealed, expunged, or other exempt material, and cannot supply ACIC or NCIC records.
Confirm Stone County Custody
Three rosters, three different answers. New Inmates covers a rolling window of fresh bookings, while Current Inmates shows who is in Stone County custody right now, and Recent Releases tracks people for a short stretch after they leave. A VINELink custody check works best when you want to follow one person. Get alerts about a release or transfer there. Just know it can lag behind the jail's own entry, and it will not show booking photos.
- Booking
- The jail intake process and its resulting custody record.
- Bond
- A court-set condition that may permit release while a case proceeds.
- Disposition
- The court’s later outcome, which the booking feed does not provide.
A booking card only tells you about the arrest. It says nothing about the case. For what happens after, turn to Arkansas CourtConnect or the circuit clerk. Those two sources carry the court trail a vendor card never will. Photos go stale, too.
The Stone County Police Blotter page covers the other angle. No full multi-day public log exists in Stone County. The page explains why this gap exists. It also shows how to request a jail log that does.
Note: Match name, age, timestamp, and arresting agency before treating two entries as the same person.
